Comar Systems specialise in the design and manufacture of Automatic Identification System (AIS) products for the marine market. Comar was formed over 25 years ago and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of marine electronics.

Comar were one of the first companies in the world to develop and market a receive only AIS unit, the SLR 200 which has been sold worldwide, to Harbour Authorities, Monitoring Stations, commercial and fishing vessels since the beginning of 2004.

In 2005 Comar announced their further expansion in to the AIS market with the release of the CSB 200 Class B AIS transponder.
